Meet the Doctor

Dr. Allison McDonough joined Pondside Dental Associates in 2023. As part of the Jamaica Plain community, her goal as a general dentist is to build long-term relationships with her patients to improve oral and overall health.

Dr. McDonough is originally from Warren, NJ. She graduated from Boston University Cum Laude in 2011 and attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine, graduating Cum Laude in 2023. Dr. McDonough is a member of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. McDonough has conducted research in the areas of mindfulness practice, imposter phenomenon, and color matching ability of novel dental composites.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. McDonough enjoys time spent with her partner and her dog. She enjoys crafting, circus, cooking, and kayaking.
